PMG M400 Monoblock

Swapped these in to drive my bookshelf speakers and the noise floor basically vanished — dead silent between tracks. The Class A bias gives vocals a warmth I wasn't expecting from a monoblock at this price. Two of them bridged is the most fun I've had with my system in years.

These monoblocks run cool even after hours of listening, which surprised me given the Class A bias. The active power supply keeps the background dead silent, so I'm hearing details in old recordings I never noticed before.

I swapped out a big Class AB stereo amp for two of these monoblocks and the noise floor just vanished — dead silent through my 89dB speakers. The Class A bias makes the first few watts sound genuinely sweet, and they barely get warm even after a long session.
