The moment her voice kicked in I actually stopped what I was doing and just listened. That Merlot suggestion is spot on—this album sets the perfect mellow evening mood.

I put this on during a long drive home and her voice pulled me in so completely I missed my exit. The songwriting is introspective without ever feeling indulgent, and the whole record has this warm, late-night texture. Easily the best thing I've downloaded this year.

Merlot in hand, lights off, and her voice just takes over the room. The songwriting is the real draw here, so intimate it feels like she's telling you a story across the table.
