PMG Signature 512 DAC

I was skeptical about upsampling, but the PureStream engine makes my old CD rips sound incredibly open and detailed. No more digital harshness—just pure music.

I was skeptical about the whole DSD thing, but the PureStream engine genuinely smooths out harsh digital recordings I know well. Strings and cymbals lost that brittle edge I'd just accepted as normal. Two weeks in and I'm still hearing new details in albums I've played for years.

Swapped out my old PCM chain for this and the difference on well-recorded acoustic albums is not subtle—cymbals just decay naturally instead of getting chopped off. Running everything through the 8X DSD engine means I never touch a PCM filter setting anymore, which honestly I don't miss.
