온실의 꽃

The shift from the cabaret-style opener into the deep, rich ballads caught me off guard in the best way. I've had it on repeat all week and keep noticing new layers in the mix. Easily the most adventurous thing I've bought this year.

I didn't expect a single album to swing from deep, heartfelt ballads to something this genuinely unsettling, but it works. The production is rich enough that I keep catching new layers on every listen.

The cabaret-style show tunes caught me off guard at first, but they fit surprisingly well alongside the slower ballads. Only gripe is that a couple tracks run long and lose momentum before the payoff.
