Live in Roots Music Project

The interplay between the musicians on this one is so tight you'd swear they'd been playing together for years. I keep coming back to the quieter poetry moments, where the room noise almost disappears. Feels less like a polished album and more like being in the room with them.

The harmonies on this live recording gave me chills, especially on the quieter tracks where you can hear the room breathing along with them. It feels less like a polished album and more like sitting in the front row of a small club.

The interplay between the players here is what hooked me — you can actually hear them listening to each other instead of just running the changes. Feels like sitting in a small room on a good night, poetry and all.
