Category: Amplifier

The M400 brings the entire architecture of the M800 — the topology, the state-of-the-art active power supply, the Class A bias scheme, the strikingly low feedback design — into a more accessible monoblock configuration.

Four hundred watts into 8 ohms, doubling into 4. The same 30 watts of Class A bias, the same bandwidth exceeding 500 kHz, the same flat distortion profile across the audible band. The M400 isn’t a derivative of the flagship — it’s the same idea, scaled for systems and rooms that don’t need the M800’s full reserves.

Designed by Darren Myers. Engineered into production by Bob Stadtherr. Hand built in Boulder, Colorado.

Sold individually. For stereo, two M400 monoblocks.

Joseph X. ★★★★★

Swapped these in to drive my bookshelf speakers and the noise floor basically vanished — dead silent between tracks. The Class A bias gives vocals a warmth I wasn't expecting from a monoblock at this price. Two of them bridged is the most fun I've had with my system in years.

Hannah T. ★★★★★

These monoblocks run cool even after hours of listening, which surprised me given the Class A bias. The active power supply keeps the background dead silent, so I'm hearing details in old recordings I never noticed before.

Sebastian L. ★★★★★

I swapped out a big Class AB stereo amp for two of these monoblocks and the noise floor just vanished — dead silent through my 89dB speakers. The Class A bias makes the first few watts sound genuinely sweet, and they barely get warm even after a long session.
