Audiophile Masters Volume IV

The pure DSD capture on this disc gives every instrument such clarity and airiness, especially in the quieter passages. It’s quickly become my go-to reference for testing any new system setup.

I've been collecting reference discs for years and this fourth volume might be the best one yet. The DSD capture really shines on the quieter acoustic tracks, where you can hear the room around the instruments.

Tracks 3 and 7 have a warmth I didn't expect from a DSD disc, and the dynamics hold up even on my modest bookshelf setup. Only gripe is the track list printed in the booklet is tiny, but the sound itself is worth it.
