Otis Taylor and the Electrics is the latest release from world-renowned blues artist and composer Otis Taylor. Recorded live in Octave Records’ state-of-the-art DSD studios, this exclusive album captures the unfiltered energy, grit, and soul that have made Taylor a force on stages around the world.

Backed by his electrifying band—Nick Amodeo on bass and mandolin, Brian Juan on organ, Callum Bair on lead guitar, Fara Tolno on djembe, and Tohbias Juniel on drums—Taylor channels the raw pulse of modern blues with a hypnotic drive all his own. The performances are spontaneous, fearless, and deeply human, blending roots traditions with Taylor’s unmistakable storytelling voice.

Engineered in stunning high-resolution DSD by Octave Records, Otis Taylor and the Electrics delivers the immediacy of a live concert with the purity and depth of a master recording. It’s an essential album for anyone who loves authentic, deeply felt American music.

Leo U. ★★★★★

The live recording here is so clean you can hear every pick slide and breath between verses. “Day and Night” hits different on a good system, and the DSD capture gives it a warm, roomy feel that most live albums miss. Great addition to any blues rotation.

Andrew ★★★★★

Didn't expect an Otis Taylor album to hit this hard, but the electric guitar tone on these live tracks is just filthy in the best way. You can hear every bit of the room in the quieter passages, which makes the whole thing feel like you're sitting right there. Already played it through three times.

William ★★★★★

The live DSD recording really comes through on decent speakers, you can hear the room behind the band. I've had it on repeat all week and keep catching little details in the electric guitar I missed the first time.
